The Executive Office of Transportation is continuing to work on preparing its application to the US Department of Transportation for discretionary grant funding under the TIGER program (Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery),
due on September 15, 2009. The TIGER grant would fund the implementation of the 28X project. Public outreach for the 28X project began in May 2009 and will continue throughout the project development process.
The following summarizes MassDOT's plan for outreach activities in July, August, and beyond (if the TIGER application is approved).
