Overview

This point datalayer contains the locations of Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) parking lot locations in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The layer provides information about the transit mode served by the lot, and the number parking, bicycle, and handicap spaces available at each location.

Production

This layer was created based on the 1:5000 color orthophoto imagery. Descriptions listed on the MBTA website were used as aides in the placement of the MBTA parking lot locations.

Indicates the number of bicycles spaces available as of 2006

NUMBER_HANDICAP_SPACES_2006

Indicates the number of handicap spaces available as of 2006

NUMBER_PARKING_SPACES_2006

Indicates the number of parking spaces available as of 2006
